As the Director of CASA, Rachel Wright came to Children’s Advocacy Center of Greater West Texas, Inc. with broad experience and a passion for advocating for children in need. Rachel is a graduate of Angelo State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. Before coming to CAC in 2013, Rachel worked at a daycare and as a Conservatorship Caseworker with CPS. These experiences and her heart for children and families have made her a natural fit as Director of CASA.
Rachel loves the children and families she gets to support and work with daily. She is passionate about ensuring children feel safe and standing up for those that may not be able to do so themselves. One of Rachel’s favorite quotes is by Bill Bennot, “How we walk with the broken speaks louder than how we sit with the great,” and her desire is to help lift others up in the community.
