Statistics show by the end of today, 175 children in the state of Texas will suffer from abuse and neglect. We feel it is our obligation to prevent and educate community members and organizations on child abuse and neglect. We want the Concho Valley to be a safer place for children and families, and this can only happen when everyone is aware and educated on what steps they can take to protect children.

We offer several trainings at no cost to educate, empower, and equip individuals to stand up against child abuse through our Sparks of Hope program. Be a voice and a spark of hope for victims of child abuse by learning how to recognize and report child abuse.

Protective Factors Framework Training is a positive training on working with families and coworkers form a strength based perceptive.

Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse Training is a free, video-based training led by a trained facilitator for any school, group, business, or individual. This training is statistically proven to make ten children safer for every adult trained by providing the tools to recognize signs of child abuse, learn proper reporting protocol, and gain access to available community resource. This vital training can not only help save a child’s life but is a great tool to have for anyone in the human services, education, or medical fields, as well as businesses that regularly interact with individuals.
